Switzerland celebrates this autumn the 500e anniversary of the Peace of Freiburg, better known as the Perpetual Peace, signed by the Swiss and the king of France.
Human history is full of these treaties and agreements which are long forgotten, but this particular Peace, with all the consequences following the signing, has contributed to make the two countries what they are nowadays.
Alain-Jacques Tornare, historian and curator of the exhibition present some famous characters of the common history of France and Switzerland.
