The Foundation for the History of the Swiss Abroad aims to study and publicize the history of relations between Switzerland and the world, especially through the life and works of Swiss people who, over the centuries and up to the present day, left their homeland and made their own unique mark on the time in which they lived.
The Foundation has therefore established the Institute and Museum of the Swiss Abroad, the Edouard Marcel Sandoz Centre for Research and Documentation and the Restaurant of the Château de Penthes.
Entirely private in nature, it depends on the generosity of its patrons and many friends both in Switzerland and abroad.
What does the Foundation aspire to? Becoming a first-rate cultural platform and a key reference for International Geneva.
